We are looking for a new colleague with a few years of operations experience, preferably with experience from our segment. You are a quick learner and want to become a part of our Deep Sea Operations department in Copenhagen where dedicated and competent colleagues are eager to meet you.

You report to the General Manager of Deep Sea, Operations at the US office, meaning that your closest colleagues are situated in Stamford, Connecticut, so naturally excellent communication skills in English are a must.

Nordic Tankers has commercial offices in Copenhagen in Denmark, Golfe-Juan in France, in Stamford and Houston, United States and Bogota, Columbia, so some travelling is to be expected.

We appreciate an outgoing personality to continuously develop and strengthen the team spirit in our department.

Your main tasks:

• Your focus will be on optimizing voyages and providing excellent service to our customers
• Sending voyage orders to vessels, review of charter parties and agency appointments
• Ordering bunkers, cleaning chemicals, nitrogen etc.
• On a daily basis, you will be in close contact with masters/agents/charterers/owners/bunker
suppliers/various internal departments etc.
• Visiting ships, agents, officer conferences and customers
• Invoicing freight, calculating demurrage, disbursement checking and rebilling
• Final voyage review / lessons learned and voyage reconciliation

Your qualifications:


• You graduated from the Danish Shipping Academy and have at least 2 years of working experience from Operations or similar
• You are a great multitasker and able to change priorities fast
• You have a desire to learn and proactively look for ways to improve both your own skills as well optimizing procedures within the department
• You communicate fluently in English
• You are experienced with using IT systems and preferably you possess knowledge of IMOS, VesLink, Mark5
• You have a Danish working permit
